Renting

One variant of leasing (known as operational leasing in other countries) is what is known as "renting" in Spain. This is now often used to finance company vehicles, and purchase IT equipment.
 
In the case of vehicles, the monthly charge includes all maintenance costs, insurance, change of tyres etc. The vehicle is usually returned to the renting company at the end of the contracted period, but can be purchased at a fair market value.
 
IT equipment, including hardware and software, can be supplied under a renting agreement. As with vehicles, all maintenance costs are included, although In this case the equipment can be purchased for a small charge at the end of the period.
